5.8 Charging the Internal and Supplemental
Battery Pack Simultaneously
1. To charge the supplemental battery pack and internal battery
together, perform the following:
a. Connect the AC A or DC power B to the input power
connector of the supplemental battery pack C as shown.
b. Connect the supplemental battery pack to the input power
connector located on the side of the XPO
c. Plug the other end of the adapter into the power source.
The internal battery gauge will illuminate during charging.
Supplemental battery gauge indicator lights DO NOT
illuminate during charging.
You may operate your XPO
and/or the supplemental battery is being charged. Use of the
XPO concentrator during charging will lengthen the amount

of time required to reach full charge status of the batteries.
