► Release the trigger.

9.1
Checking the controls
Trigger
► Remove the battery.
► Press the trigger.
► If the trigger is stiff or does not spring back to
its idle position: Do not use the blower and
instead contact a STIHL authorized dealer.
The trigger is defective.
Switching on the blower
► Insert the battery.
► Press and hold the trigger.
Air flows out of the nozzle.
► If the right LED is flashing red: Remove the
battery and contact a STIHL authorized
dealer.
There is an error in the blower.
► Release the trigger.
Air stops flowing out of the nozzle.
► If air continues to flow out of the nozzle:
Remove the battery and consult a STIHL serv‐
icing dealer.
The blower is defective.

► Insert the battery.
► Press the trigger
The LEDs on the blower light up or flash.
► If the LEDs do not light up or flash: Do not use
the blower and battery and contact a STIHL
authorized dealer.

10 Operating the Blower
10.1
Holding and controlling the
blower
► Hold and control the blower with one hand on
the control handle and wrap your thumb
around the control handle.
10.2
Attaching the blower tube
► Switch off the blower.
► Align the pin (3) and hole (4).
► Push the blower tube (1) onto the nozzle (2).
► Turn the blower tube (1) to position .
You can use the blower without a blower tube,
e.g., to blow leaves, paper or similar matter from
tables.
10.3
Blowing
► Point the blower tube at the ground.
► Walk forward slowly and steadily.
During work breaks, place the blower on a dry
surface.
For optimal performance, observe the recom‐
mended temperature ranges,
