Maintenance (qualified contractors)
9.1
Checking the safety valve
u Regularly vent the safety valve on the safety assembly until
a full water jet is discharged.
9.2
Draining the appliance
WARNING
Burns
Hot water may escape when draining the appliance.
u Wear heat-resistant protective gloves.
If you need to drain the appliance for maintenance purposes or
when there is a risk of frost, follow the steps below.
u Disconnect any installed electrical accessories from the
power supply by switching off the fuse on the electrical dis-
tribution board.
u Close the shut-off valves in the pipes leading to the appli-
ance.
u Connect a drain line to the drain valve (neither are included
in standard delivery).
u Open the drain valve.

u Contact your qualified contractor.
u To facilitate and speed up your enquiry, please provide the
qualified contractor with the number from the type plate.

11 Shutdown (qualified contractors)
u Disconnect any installed electrical accessories from the
power supply by switching off the fuse on the electrical dis-
tribution board.
u Drain the appliance (see chapter Draining the appliance
[} 7] ).
