u Insert a sufficiently strong pipe or an appropriate rod
through the fitting. Take into account the door widths and
any narrow areas on the way to the installation site.

Installation (qualified contractors)
5.1
Installation site
The installation site must fulfil the following requirements:
– Free from the risk of frost
– Dry
The substrate on which the appliance is to be installed must
meet the following conditions:
– Horizontal
– Fixed
– Permanent
– Sufficient load bearing capacity (for weight of the appliance,
see chapter Data table [} 10] ).
u To reduce line losses, keep the distance short between the
appliance and the heat pump.
u Observe the required room height (for height of the appli-
ance, see chapter Data table [} 10] ).

5.1.1 Minimum clearances

The minimum side clearances enable accessories to be in-
stalled.
u Maintain the minimum clearances in order to ensure
trouble-free operation of the appliance and to allow enough
space for maintenance work.
5.2
Siting the appliance
u Screw in the adjustable feet.
u Position the appliance in the final installation site.
u Observe chapter Minimum clearances [} 5] .
u Use the adjustable feet to compensate for any unevenness
in the floor.
5.3
Installing the threaded immersion heater
(optional)
The threaded immersion heater is used for electric booster
heating. You can install a threaded immersion heater either at
the top connection "Electric emergency/auxiliary heater" (i07) or
at the bottom connection "Electric emergency/auxiliary heater"
(i07).
