MAINTENANCE
Caution: Only professionals are allowed to perform maintenance. To prolong
the machine's lifespan, timely maintenance should be conducted according
to the manual. Otherwise, it will affect the machine's reliability or even cause
injuries to the operator and others nearby.
Caution: Before conducting any maintenance, disconnect the tire changer
from the electrical and pneumatic supply, and step on the pedal to open
and close the jaws or the turntable rotation pedal 3~4 times to evacuate all
compressed air from the machine. Damaged parts should be replaced by
professional personnel with spare parts supplied by the manufacturer.
Clean the machine once daily after work. Clean the turntable dirt with diesel once a week and
lubricate the slides and jaws.
The following maintenance should be performed at least once a month:
Check the oil level in the nebulizer, refill with SAE30# oil if necessary.
Loosen with the hex key (E). Based on the compressed air connection, first,
open and close the pedal or the turntable rotation pedal 5-6 times. Then,
check if the oil in the oil nebulizer drips. For continuous operation, step
twice each time, and let a drop of oil fall.
Otherwise, adjust the screw (D) controlling the oil inlet with a fine-tip
screwdriver.
As shown in the image, when you find water in the glass, tighten the valve
to release excess water.
Note: After the first 20 days of use, re-tighten the jaws with screws (B) on the
turntable.
Note: In case of power loss of the turntable, check if the belt has the proper
tension by following the steps:
Remove the left cover by removing the screws; adjust the two screws of the
motor bracket, leave an adequate distance between the motor bracket and
the motor base. Tighten the screws for belt tension. Always disconnect the
machine from the power and pneumatic installation for this type of mainte-
nance.
Note: If the vertical hexagonal arm does not lock or does not meet the requi-
rement of 2-3 mm from the bottom of the mounting/dismounting head to the
edge, adjust the hexagonal locking plate, and adjust the (X).
Note: To ensure the reliability of the claws and the tire iron, operate following
the points to keep the valves clean:
1. Remove the left cover of the machine by removing the 2 screws.
2. Loosen the valve silencer (A) belonging to the claws, and the tire iron.
3. Clean the silencers with compressed air, and replace them if necessary.
