cutting edges on top of guide bar facing the guide bar nose.
• Fit the guide bar (with the new saw chain) onto the adjustment plate with the chain laying
around the sprocket drive, so that guide bar can fit in the position.
• NOTE: Make sure the cutting edge of the chain is in the correct direction.
• Restore the sprocket cover (7) on the chainsaw and turn sprocket cover knob (9) clockwise to
fix the sprocket cover (7).
• Turn the chain tensioner wheel (8) to properly adjust the chain tension.
• The chain is correctly tensioned if it does not sag at the rail underside and can be manually
rotated completely around. Test the tension by pulling the bottom of the chain and make sure
the gap between the chain and guide bar is not more than 3mm.
Installing/removing the battery pack
• To install the battery pack (5), completely insert the battery into the battery compartment.
• The battery pack (5) is properly installed when a "click" sound is heard.
• To remove the battery pack (5), press down the battery release button on the battery, then pull
out the battery pack (5).
Filling oil tank
• Position the chainsaw on a level surface.
• Clean the area around the oil tank cap (12) and then open.
• Fill the oil tank (11) with saw chain oil. Make sure that no dirt gets into the oil tank, so that the
oil nozzle does not clog up.
• Close oil tank cover.
4.4- Switch On/Off
• Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands. Always use left hand to grip front handle and right
hand to grip rear handle. Make sure your footing is firm. Keep feet apart.
• Make sure the chain brake and protective guard (3) is in position A. Refer to Section 5.2 for the
operations of the chain brake (3).
• To start the chainsaw, press the power trigger lock (13) and power trigger (14) together. Allow
the saw runs in full speed before start cutting.
• To stop the chainsaw, release the power trigger (14).
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
This cordless chainsaw is intended for domestic use in cutting woods only. The tool is not suitable
for other applications such as cutting brickwork, masonry, plastic or food. The tool is not designed
for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
