(MSP-AL-LC, 17), prefix one wing clamp (MSP-AL-WH, 11) on each intersec-
tion between carrier section (MSP-MTP, 10) and longitudinal channel (MSP-AL-

1. The installation instructions issued by the panel manufacturer must be observed.
2. Position the first end clamps (MSP-EC, 20) at the ends of the carrier section
(MSP-MTP, 10).
3. Place the PV panel on the carrier sections (MSP-MTP, 10) and slide it into the
end clamps (MSP-EC, 20).
4. Align the PV panel correctly and then tighten the screws in the end clamps (MSP-
EC, 20) securely to a torque of M
5. Fit the middle clamps (MSP-MC, 22) into the carrier section (MSP-MTP, 10), slide
them into position against the PV panel which is already in place.
6. Place the next PV panel on the carrier sections and slide it into place under the
middle clamps (MSP-MC, 22).

1. The Hilti solar park installation system is suitable for use with thin-film PV pan-
els. The installation instructions issued by the panel manufacturer must be
observed. The panels are laid out in horizontal format.
2. Fit the panel end clamps (MSP-TF-EC, 21) into the carrier section (MSP-MTP,
10) and tighten the screws slightly using a 6 mm bit or hex key so that the nut
turns through 90°.
3. Position two middle clamps (MSP-TF-MC, 23) on the upper horizontal edge of
the thin-film panel.
4. Guide the lower edge of this prepared thin-film panel into the panel end clamps
(MSP-TF-EC, 20) on the carrier section (MSP-MTP, 10)
5. Fit the middle clamps (MSP-TF-MC, 23) on the top edge of the panel into the car-
rier section (MSP-MTP, 10) and tighten the screws slightly using a 6 mm bit or
allenkey so that the nut turns through 90°.
6. Align the panel correctly in its final position. Tighten the end clamps to a torque
of M
= 15 Nm using a 6 mm bit or allenkey.

The cable holders (MSP-AL-CH 8, 24) are fitted in the grooves in the sides of the
longitudinal channels (MSP-AL-LC, 17). Insert the cable holders (with the clips hor-
izontal) in the groove in the side of the longitudinal channel (MSP-AL-LC, 17) and

8. Subsequent panels are mounted in the same way.
9. The last PV panel in a row must be secured at its outside edge with end clamps
(MSP-EC, 20). Fit the end clamps (MSP-EC, 20) into the carrier sections (MSP-
MTP, 10), slide them into position against the PV panel, align the panel correct-
ly and then tighten the screws securely to a torque of M
bit or hex key.
