Jam Clearing
Follow the jam clearing procedure when a
fastener is jammed:
1. Switch the stapler off by pressing the
On/Off Button 6.
2. Remove the Battery Pack 8 from the
stapler.
3. Tilt the stapler forward to remove all
fasteners from the Magazine 12. See
section "Loading and Unloading the
Magazine" on page 14.

Troubleshooting
4. Remove the jammed fastener; use
needlenose pliers if necessary.
5. Refill the Magazine 12. See section
"Loading and Unloading the Magazine"
on page 14.
6. After successfully clearing the jam, fol-
low the section "Daily Inspection and
Testing" on page 14 to ensure normal
operation of the stapler.
NOTE: If the driver blade does not return to
its up position, remove the Battery Pack 8
and contact a Bosch service center or autho-
rized Bosch service station.
Meaning
Stapler is energized and
operating. Conditions
are normal.
Battery pack and tool
temperature too high/
low.
Internal error.
Sequential operation
has not been conducted
correctly.
The trigger was not
pressed within 5 sec-
onds after the workpiece
contact was depressed.
Battery not fully
charged.
Regular Service Due
Indicator light is illumi-
nated.
Major Service Due Indi-
cator light is illuminated.
Solution
Stapler is ready for use
Allow battery and/or stapler
to reach permitted operating
temperature. See "Specifica-
tions" section on page 10.
Return to Bosch service
center for service.
The status will automatically
reset to ready and will dis-
play green after a moment.
See "Stapler Actuation"
section on page 18 for
correct sequential operation.
Charge battery or replace
with full battery.
Return to Bosch service
center for service.
