Single Sequential Actuation
(Fig. 1, Fig. 11, Fig. 13)
1. Load the Magazine 12. See the "Loading
and Unloading the Magazine" section on
page 14.
2. Insert the Battery Pack 7.
3. Press the On/Off Button 6 to activate
the stapler.
4. Ensure that the stapler is in Single Ac-
tuation mode by checking the indicator
on the User Interface 9.
5. Firmly grip the Handle 17, and hold the
stapler to the work surface.
6. Depress the Workpiece Contact 2 fully
against the work surface
piece Contact 2 is not fully depressed
into the stapler, the stapler will not fire.
7. Pull the Trigger 5
into the work surface. The Trigger 5
must be pressed within 5 seconds after
the Workpiece Contact 2 is fully de-
pressed. If the Trigger 5 is pulled later,
the stapler will revert to a SAFE mode
and the actuation sequence will have to
be repeated.
8. The stapler will recoil after the fastener
is driven into the work surface. Use
sufficient grip to maintain control and
alignment of the stapler with the work
surface during firing and recoil.
9. Release the Trigger 5, and pull the sta-
pler away from the work surface.

10. To fire another fastener, the Trigger
5 and Workpiece Contact 2 must be
released and the firing sequence, steps
5-7, must be repeated.
Contact (Bump) Actuation
(Fig. 1, Fig. 11, Fig. 14)
1. Load the Magazine 12. See the "Loading
and Unloading the Magazine" section on
page 14.
2. Insert the Battery Pack 7.
3. Press the On/Off Button 6 to activate
the stapler.
4. On the User Interface 9, press the Mode
Button 21 to toggle on Bump Activation
mode; the Bump Actuation Indicator 23
will illuminate.
5. Firmly grip the Handle 17 and pull the
Trigger 5 to activate the stapler
6. Depress the Workpiece Contact 2 fully
against the work surface
the fastener; do not release the Trigger
5. The Workpiece Contact 2 must be
fully depressed within 5 seconds after
the Trigger 5 is pressed. If the Work-
piece Contact 2 is depressed later, the
stapler will revert to a SAFE mode and
the actuation sequence will have to be
repeated. If the Workpiece Contact 2 is
not fully depressed into the stapler, the
stapler will not fire.

8. Continue to hold in the Trigger 5 and
pull the stapler away from the work
surface.
9. To fire another fastener, press the Work-
piece Contact 2 at the next firing loca-
tion; this step may be repeated as long
as the Trigger 5 is continuously held in.
Once the trigger is released, steps 5-8
must be repeated.
