7. Remove the test probes from the measured object.

Measure AC current up to 600 mA.
1. Switch the multimeter off by rotating the dial to the position OFF.
2. Connect the red test lead to the measurement socket V mA.
3. Connect the black test lead to the measurement socket COM.
4. For mA, rotate the dial to mA. For µA, rotate the dial to µA.

The display shows "AUTO" to indicate that auto-range selection is activated.
5. Repeatedly press the button MODE until the symbol
6. Connect the two test probes to the object so that the multimeter is integrated
into the circuit in a series connection. Connect the red test probe to the positive
measuring point on the object. Connect the black test probe to the negative
measuring point on the object.

7. Remove the test probes from the measured object.
