• Verify the Display Module Screen displays a live
image (rather than a stored one) in the correct
orientation.
• The Endosee
System is now ready for use.
®
• The cannula comes with a pre-curved tip at an angle
of 20° ± 5°. The curve of the tip is similar to that of
most conventional cervical dilators.
• The cannula is inserted through the cervical canal
or uretha, with fluid flowing, while viewing the image,
as is standard procedure for introduction of a
hysteroscope or cystoscope.
6.8 Removal of the System
• After the procedure is completed, remove the
cannula, and press and hold the Display
Module POWER ON/OFF.
• Hold the Display Module such that the cannula tip is
pointed towards the floor. Gently pull the cannula
straight out from the Display Module. The cannula will
detach from the Display Module.
CAUTION:
!
the Display Module, be sure that fluid does not
contact the connector in the Display Module.
6.9 Disposal of Biohazardous Material

WARNING:
Separation Cable must be disposed of as
biohazardous waste according to the safety
guidelines of user facility/institution.
6.10 Battery Charging
The Endosee
System has an internal battery that
®
powers the unit during use. A fully charged battery will
provide at least 1 hour of continuous operating time
under normal operating conditions.
To recharge the battery, follow the procedure in
Section 4.2
