6.7 Patient Examination Procedure
The following steps describe the process for using the
Endosee
System Hysteroscope.

CAUTION:
least 1 hour of continuous operating time under
normal operating conditions. The Display Mod-
ule should be fully charged before initial use.
It is recommended to fully charge the Display
Module after each procedure.

CAUTION:
the touch screen Display Module to determine
remaining battery power.
• Ensure that the Display Module is thoroughly cleaned
and disinfected using the procedures, as described in
Section 9.
• Ensure that the Display Module is charged, as
described in Section 6.10.
• Remove the sterile cannula from the sterilized pouch.
• Inspect the cannula as described in Section 4.1.
• Attach the cannula to the Display Module
using the procedures, as described in
Section 6.3.
• Attach the fluid tubing to the cannula, as described
in Section 6.2.
• Press and Release POWER ON/OFF button.
• The light source at the distal tip of the cannula will
now be illuminated. If the tip of the cannula does not
illuminate, system hardware troubleshooting
procedures should be performed, as described in
Section 12.
• Flush the fluid through the cannula until all air bubbles
have cleared from the tubing.
• Using the Display Module touch screen, enter the
Patient ID via the "Start" menu, or touch the Preview
soft button as described in Section 6.6.
