Drill a pilot hole with diameter ⅛" for house wiring, at

Use a sharp pencil or ⅛" drill bit to mark the locations

for the appropriate duct access holes. Use 16 locations
for a round duct, or 4 corner locations for a rectangular
duct. Remove the template.
Draw the border for the exhaust ducting by linking the

marked locations, then cut the opening in the cabinet
bottom (vertical exhaust) or in the wall (horizontal
exhaust).
Use a 1½" hole saw to drill the house wiring hole

centered with the pilot hole previously made.
Install the proper mounting brackets according to the

type of cabinet.

Refer to the marking on the mounting brackets to

determine the correct installation side and orientation.
Align the corresponding mounting bracket to the cabinet

side frame. Place the rear end of the mounting bracket
against the wall. Use a pencil to mark 3 holes (there are
6 holes but only 3 are necessary).
