Install new element(s) into the air filter case.
NOTICE
The engine should never run without the air filter
element; excessive piston and cylinder wear may
result.
5.
Install the air filter case cover.
6.
Place the holding clips in the original position.
7.
Remove the dust cap on the air filter case cover for
accumulated dirt or water.
8.
If dirt or water is visible, clean it, and then install it.
Adjusting the engine idling speed
Do not adjust the engine idling speed. If necessary,
adjusting should be left to a Yamaha dealer with the
professional knowledge, specialized data, and equip-
ment to do so properly.
