3.3.1 Surveillance camera or signal source
1) Connect the video output of the camera or signal
source via a 75 Ω coaxial cable to the cable core of
the black, screened line and the screening of the
coaxial cable to the screening of the black line. The
level of the video signal must be 1 Vpp according
to standard.
2) In case of audio transmission, connect the audio
signal of the camera or signal source via a screened
audio cable to the green line (audio A) and in case
of stereo transmission in addition to the blue line
(audio B). Connect the screening to the screening
of the black line as well.
3.3.2 Control channel/motion detector
If the receiver used is equipped with a control chan-
nel, it is possible to activate a visual or acoustical sig-
nal device or another additional unit connected to the
receiver via this channel (e. g. video recorder for auto-
matic start of a recording). At the transmitter the con-
trol channel is activated by short-circuiting the yellow
line with the screening of the black line. Connect e. g.
a motion detector with closing contact (NO) to these
lines.

3.3.3 Power supply

For power supply, a regulated 12 V power supply unit
is required, e. g. MONACOR PS-500ST. The current
consumption of the transmitter is approx. 130 mA.
1) In case of power supply units with variable output
voltage, adjust them to 12 V.
2) Connect the power supply unit:
the positive pole to the red line and the negative
pole to the screening of the black line.
3) Make all other connections before connecting the
power supply unit to a mains socket (230 V/50 Hz).
After applying the operating voltage, the transmit-
ter is switched on.
3.3.4 Selection of the transmitting channel
The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range which has been divided by the manufacturer into
5 channels with a distance of 14 MHz. As a maximum,
three channels may be used at the same time because
two adjacent channels interfere with each other. The
following channel selection is recommended:
two transmitters:
channels 1 and 5
three transmitters:
channels 1, 3, and 5
Remove the housing cover of the transmitter and
adjust the transmitting channel with the DIP switches
(1) according to fig. 2. Then replace the housing
cover.
