7. Using the mixing
tools
Lifting up the drive arm
1. Press the unlock button 1 and fold up
the drive arm 12 until it engages and
the unlock button 1 pops out again.
Inserting the mixing bowl
2. Place the mixing bowl 5 into the base
unit 9 in such a way that the metal pins
on the lower edge fit into the recesses in
the base unit.
3. Lock the mixing bowl 5 by turning it to-
wards the closed lock symbol until it is
firmly seated.
Mounting the splash guard
CAUTION:
Never use the mixing bowl 5 without
the splash guard 11 attached. The ma-
terial you are mixing could otherwise
be ejected.

4. Place the splash guard 11 onto the drive
arm 12 from below. The arrow () on
the splash guard 11 and the arrow ()
next to the open lock symbol on the drive
arm 12 point to one another.
5. Rotate the splash guard 11 in the direc-
tion of the closed lock symbol until it
clicks into place.
Inserting the mixing tool
6. Select the appropriate mixing tool:
- Dough hook 4: for heavy doughs,
e.g. bread dough
- Whisk 6: for whipping cream, egg
white etc.
- Beater 7: for medium to light dough
or batter, e.g. cake mix or pancake
batter.

7. Place the mixing tool 4/6/7 onto the
axle 13 from below.
Ensure that the metal pin on the axle 13
slots into the recess in the mixing tool.
