To replace the gear oil
1. Put a container (A) below the gear oil plug.

2. Remove the gear oil plug (B).
3. Drain the gear oil into the container.
4. If it is necessary, let an approved Husqvarna service
center clean the gearbox.
5. Fill the gear housing with new gear oil. Refer to
Technical data on page 20 .
6. Clean the gear oil plug and install the gear oil plug.
To examine the water connection
CAUTION:
from the water connection ring, the shaft
seals must be replaced immediately.
Let an approved Husqvarna service center repair the
water connection.
Troubleshooting schedule
If you cannot find a solution to your problems in this
operator's manual, speak to your Husqvarna service
agent.

Release the
power switch.
To examine the carbon brushes
1. Remove the 3 screws and remove the inspection
cover.
2. Lift the brush retainer spring to one side (A).

3. Loosen the screw (B).
4. Pull out the carbon brush connector.
5. Pull out the carbon brush (C) from the holder.
6. Clean the carbon brush holder with compressed air
or a brush. Replace the carbon brush if it is worn.
7. Install the new carbon brush. Make sure that the
carbon brush moves easily in the brush retainers.
8. Lift the brush retainer spring into its correct position.
9. Install the carbon brush connection and tighten the
screw.
10. Do the same procedure with the carbon brush on the
opposite side of the product.
11. Install the inspection cover and tighten the 3 screws.
Start the product and let the product idle for 10
minutes.
Solution
Push the "RESET" button on the
PRCD.
If the PRCD disconnects the current
again, speak to an approved Husq-
varna service center.
