10. Lift the drill bit to the ceiling. Attach the slurry ring to
the ceiling.
To decrease the temperature of the
motor
• Operate the product with no load for 2 minutes to
decrease the temperature of the motor.
To change gear
CAUTION:
motor decreases in speed or stops. Do not
use force to change gear.
• Use the applicable speed for the drill bit diameter.
Refer to the rating plate on the product or
data on page 20 .
• Turn the drill spindle and at the same time turn the
gear selector to change gear.
To start the product
WARNING:
can rotate freely. The drill bit starts to rotate
when the motor starts.

1. Connect the power plug of the product to a power
outlet.
2. Push the "RESET" button on the PRCD.
3. To set the operation speed, turn the drill spindle and
at the same time move the gear selector. Set the
gear selector in the correct position for the operation.
4. For wet drilling, connect the water system and open
the water system. Refer to
for wet drilling on page 12 .
5. For dry drilling, attach the dust extractor to the
product and start the dust extractor. Refer to
prepare the product for dry drilling on page 12 .
