2. SAVE/DELETE BLAST BT/VEG
1. With a transmitter already set, take the motor to be programmed to the intermediate position.
2.Press PROG on this transmitter for 5 seconds. The motor makes 2 upward movements.
3.Within 15 seconds, press P1 of the BLAST BT / VEGA BT sensor until the motor performs an
acknowledgement movement (from 1 to 10 seconds).
4. 1 movement up: device saved!
1 movement down: device deleted!
2 movements down: error! (*)
(*) "Error" is indicated if the radio code is not timely given, if the memory of the receiver is full, if non-
compatible devices are attempted to be saved in the receiver
ATTENTION:
Some receivers may have storage/deletion procedures other than those herein described. In this case, please refer to the receiver manual under
"Memorizing/deleting a radio device.".
ATTENTION:
To ensure that the sensor has been correctly stored, move the set receivers to the intermediate position, rotate the anemometer blades quickly to simulate the "wind alarm" condition. The set receivers must move upwards and
the manual controls of the receivers must be inhibited. To exit the "wind alarm" condition, press any button on the radio sensor body for about 3 seconds until the LEDs light up briefly, then release the button.
ATTENTION:
If the receiver is not energized, it may take up to 10 minutes for the radio sensor and receiver to re-establish radio communication when the receiver is switched on again.
03. WIND FUNCTIO
N
If the wind intensity is higher than the set threshold for at least 3 seconds, the message "wind alarm" is displayed:
the set motors move up to protect the sun blind and all manual controls are inhibited. If the wind intensity is below
the set threshold for at least 8 minutes, the message "wind alarm end" is displayed and the manual controls are
reset. During installation, it is possible to exit the wind alarm by briefly pressing (less than 3 seconds) one of the
buttons P1, P2, P3 of the device. The wind threshold ranges from 10 to 35 Km/h (with 5 Km/h increments). The
wind threshold default value is 15 Km/h (threshold value 2). To change the threshold
01. Press P1 for about 3 seconds until the LED1 starts flashing.
02. LED1 indicates the current threshold value (see Table 1).
03.Within 10 seconds, briefly and quickly press P1 as many times as the required threshold value (see Table 1).
04. Wait for 10 seconds. The control unit shows the new threshold value (see Table 1).
04. SUN FUNCTION (VEG
If the intensity of the sun exceeds the set threshold for at least 2.5 minutes, the message "sunshine present" is
sent out and the set motors start going down. If the intensity of the sun is below the set threshold for about 15
minutes (from 12 to 18 minutes, depending on how the brightness decreases), the message "sun not present" is
sent out and the set motors start moving up. Once an automated lowering movement has been performed, due to
the presence of the sun, the next automated movement carried out by the control unit will be the lifting movement,
due to the absence of the sun and so on. In any case, the user can operate the sun blind and this manual control
will not affect the operating logics of the sun sensor. The sun threshold value ranges between 1 and 45 Klux. The
sun threshold value is preset a 15 Klux (threshold value 3). To change the threshold value:
01.Press P2 for about 3 seconds until the LED2 starts flashing.
02.LED2 indicates the current threshold value (see Table 2).
03.Within 10 seconds, briefly and quickly press P2 as many times as the desired threshold value (see Table 2).
04.Wait for 10 seconds. The control unit shows the new threshold value (see Table 2).
05. BATTERY
05.1 Information on the battery
The average battery life is estimated to be 3 years. The battery life may vary depending on the conditions in which
the sensor operates. If available, the "Test Radio" function should be kept active in receivers tuned to the radio
sensor. If, due to the gradual discharge of the battery, the range of the radio sensor is no longer sufficient to reach a
set receiver, the "Test Radio" function will regularly rewind (about every 60 minutes) the blind bringing it in a
protected position and providing a visible indication of the need to check the radio sensor and possibly replace the
battery. Wait for an authorised technician to carry out the checks. The "Test Radio" function can be temporarily
deactivated by following the instructions provided in the installation manuals of the receivers. To know the battery
charge level:
01. Press P1and P3 together for at least 5 seconds until the LEDs indicate the battery state (see Table 3).
05.2 Battery replacement
The battery should only be replaced by an authorised technician, in accordance with all applicable safety regulations. The battery must be replaced with an equivalent type. The
old battery must be disposed of in the appropriate containers. After replacing the battery, it is mandatory to carry out a functional check of the system. If the system does not
work, set the switch to OFF (1), wait for at least 30 seconds, turn the switch back to ON and check that LED1 lights up briefly, then check the sensor again. To replace the
battery:
01.
Remove the battery door.
02.
Set the switch to OFF (1).
03.
Remove the old battery and replace it with an equivalent one (for the spare battery, please contact your supplier).
04.
Set the switch to ON.
05.
