• For an odd number of impacts, the value placed in
the middle of the row, is to be taken as the median
value.
• For an even number of impacts, the mean value of the
two values, placed in the middle of the row, is the
median value.
• If more than 20% of the values are spaced more than
6 units apart, the measuring series must be rejected
as mentioned in the standard.

Measuring Series Number
• At the start of a measurement series, you can enter a
label consisting of up to ten letters, space and/or sym-
bols , ; -_ including a four digit number, e.g. name of
building, floor no. , element no. (see fig. 4.3).

The number is automatically incremented by 1 after the
first test impact of the new measurement series.

Unit
• Select the unit in which the compressive strength of the
the concrete is to be displayed (N/mm², MPa, psi,kg/cm²).

Select Curve
The compressive strength of the concrete fck can be cal-
culated from the rebound value R by means of conversi-
on curves. There are 3 options available for calculating
the compressive strength of the concrete:
- No conversion
- Select 5 (3 from version 4.0 on) internal conversion curves, or
- Choose between 2 programmed PROCEQ standard
curves, and (from version 4.0 on) 4 Japan curves
(see Fig. 4.4).
