Check the overall condition of the appliance;
Check that the appliance does not make abnormal noises;
Clean the condenser and its filter (see Section 6.2 "Cleaning the appliance").
If damage or malfunctions are found during these checks, do not use the appliance and contact
your dealer or a qualified and authorized technician.
WARNING! Servicing must only be performed by personnel who are authorized by
the dealer or the manufacturer, using original accessories and replacement parts.
It is severely forbidden to try to repair the appliance yourself. Such action will void
the warranty and put you at risk of injury.
6.4 If the appliance is not used for a long period of time:
Disconnect the plug from the electric socket;
Remove all food and drink from the appliance and transfer into another refrigerator or freezer;
Carefully clean and dry the appliance;
Cover the appliance with a fabric sheet which allows air to circulate but also protects it from
dust and dirt.
