1. Information on the installation, operation and service instructions
This handbook contains details for installation of the appliance, its operation and its
servicing, and it is an important source of information and recommendations. In order
to safely and correctly use the appliance all the instructions in this handbook regarding
safety and operation of the appliance must be understood and followed.
It is also necessary to comply with local regulations concerning the prevention of acci-
dents and the workplace health and safety principles.
This handbook is an integral part of the appliance and must be kept close to it so that the personnel
installing, servicing, operating and cleaning the appliance can have easy access to the handbook.
Important instructions concerning safety and technical aspects have been highlighted in this hand-
book with suitable symbols. These instructions must be compiled with to avoid any accidents, with
harmful consequences to the health of individuals and damage to objects.
WARNING!
This symbol indicates a hazard which can cause injuries. The instructions concerning workplace
health and safety must be strictly and scrupulously complied with and particular care must be
given in certain cases.
HAZARD! Live components!
This symbol indicates a hazard linked with the presence of electricity. If the safety instructions are
ignored there is the risk of injury or loss of life.
FORBIDDEN! It is forbidden to remove the guards and safety devices!
This symbol indicates that the removal of the guards and safety devices is forbidden. If the safety
instructions are ignored there is the risk of bodily harm, trapping or serious injury due to the pres-
ence of moving and/or live parts.
1.1 Manufacturer's responsibilities
All the information contained in this handbook complies with current regulations, the state of the
art in terms of design and manufacture, our know-how and many years of experience. The original
instructions are in Italian and they are the only instructions to which reference will be made in the
event of a dispute. If special models or models with additional options are ordered, or if the latest
technical advancements have been made, the appliance may differ from the description and draw-
ings contained in this handbook. If there are any doubts, please contact the manufacturer.
Carefully read this handbook before starting the appliance. The manufacturer cannot be held re-
sponsible for any damage resulting from failure to comply with the information contained in this
handbook.
1.2 Warranty
This appliance is guaranteed for one year (12 months) from the purchase date unless agreed other-
wise in the contract.
