Use that does not comply with the specific regulations in force in the country where the appli-
ance is installed;
Unauthorized modifications and/or repairs;
The use of non-original accessories or spare parts.
The instructions in this manual are to be correctly applied in order to guarantee that the machines
are functioning properly and are performing their intended uses.
Any requests for servicing under warranty must be made to the dealer where the appliance was
purchased.
1.3 Checking the appliance
After removing the appliance from the packaging, check its integrity. If any anomalies or damages
are found, do not connect the appliance to the power supply. Contact the dealer who sold it to you,
for information on the correct procedure to follow.
2. General information and features
The appliance has been manufactured in accordance with all current regulations. However, the ap-
pliance may be a source of risk if it is used incorrectly or in a manner that does not comply with its
intended use. One must be fully aware of the contents of this handbook in order to avoid hazards
and errors, and this also allows the appliance to be used safely and reliably.
The information on the appliance, in compliance with the regulations (EU) 2015/1095 and (EU)
2019/2024, can be found in the product database ("EPREL") accessible by scanning the QR-Code on
the energy label (where present) or by directly accessing the European Union portal.
2.1 Intended use
According to current European regulations, the appliance covered by this User's manual belongs to
the following category:
AKT690TN, AKT1490TN: vertical chilled;
AKT690BT, AKT1490BT: vertical frozen;
AKT690TNG, AKT1490TNG: vertical or combined supermarket refrigerator cabinet;
AKT690BTG, AKT1490BTG: vertical or combined supermarket freezer cabinet.
The ventilated refrigeration units are solely and exclusively intended for refrigerating food and
drinks at the temperatures indicated in Table 2 (Technical data - Section 9).
All food and beverages must be closed in suitable food storage containers before being placed
inside the refrigeration units.
The ventilated refrigeration units are designed for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY. These
refrigerated units are intended for use in restaurants, bars, food shops, etc.
The appliance must be positioned on a stable and level surface on the ground.
The appliance only operates in complete safety when it is used according to its intended use.
2.2 Improper use
Use of the appliance for purposes which differ from its intended use is forbidden, and will be con-
sidered an improper use that does not comply with its intended use. No claims may be made to-
wards the manufacturer and/or its representatives for damages arising as a result of use of the
appliance which does not comply with the intended use. The user is solely responsible for damages
caused during use of the appliance which does not comply with the intended use.
