Step 7.
Connect the electrical wiring to the charger.
• Open Cap. Fold the wire ends to pass through the conduit and insert them into the input hole.
• Use an appropriate conduit (1 inch conduit is recommended) which meets the NEMA 4 standard.
Refer to the following wire specification. Use a conductor type other than RHH,
RHW and RGW-2 with outer covering. Choose the appropriate conductors in accor-
dance with all applicable, state, local and national electric codes and standards.
The stripping length of the wire is recommended to be 15mm+/-0.5mm.
CAUTION
Rigid or flexible stranded copper wires can be used for installation. Ferrules are
recommended when flexible stranded wire (class G, H, I and K wires) are used for
installation. If ferrule is used, use UL certified ferrule with the corresponding UL
certified tool. The size of the ferrule depends on the size of power wiring size. Use
the appropriate ferrule size.
