3.2. Pillars
The pillars are out of plumb so require the use of an intermediate plate.
Furthermore, when one of the motor clamp mounting holes is not resting
on anything or is close to the angle of the pillar or wall, it is essential to
use the intermediate plate (ref. 2400485).
3.3. Reinforcements
If the gate has no reinforcements, fit some metal reinforcement plates
(e.g.: 15 x 15 cm and 4 cm thick) to secure the brackets to the gate leaves.
4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Definition of the dimensions - Fig. 4
4.1.1. Using the Access Fix&GO Pro
The "Access Fix&GO Pro" application provides the information necessary to
install the motor correctly.
The basic data are:
• A gate leaf 50 mm thick (if the gate leaf is thicker, the opening angle
data will be reduced)
• The minimum width of the pillar is 140 mm
• The value x is between -20 mm and 250 mm
• The width of the gate leaf is between 0.8 m and 2 m
• The maximum opening angle is 120°
• The closure holding force information is given for information pur-
poses on a scale of 1 (weak holding force) to 7 (strong holding
force).
The sideroom is the distance between the edge of the pillar (gate leaf side)
and the wall or fence perpendicular to this pillar.
4.1.2. Using the dimensions tables
For the indicated values, the gate leaves and their hinge pins are taken
to be on the same axis.
If the hinge pins are offset, the maximum opening angle values will be
reduced.
1) Measure dimension X.
2) Select dimension A in the table according to the required opening an-
gle α.

3) Trace axis AM on the pillar, copying dimension A onto the pillar.
4) Check that dimension E is greater than or equal to 435 mm.
There must be no obstacles to impede the movement of the arm in
this area.
5) Check that dimension L is between 800 mm and 2,000 mm.
If L < 1,250 mm, the installation of a set of photoelectric cells is man-
datory.
6) Trace a horizontal axis AH in the middle of the reinforcement, perpen-
dicular to the rotational axis of the gate.
If the gate has no reinforcements, place the motors approximately 1/3
of the way up the gate leaves from the bottom.
Extend this line on the pillar until it intersects with axis AM.
7) Place the template where the 2 lines intersect and drill.

4.2. Mounting the motors - Fig. 5
1) Unclip the sealing cap.
2) Unlock the upper cover.
3) Remove the upper cover.
4) Unscrew then remove the cover.
The cover is fitted with captive screws.
5) Secure the motor, checking the level.
Use the flat washers supplied to fasten the motor in place and prevent
the flange from breaking when tightening.
6) Assemble:
• the motor arm on the motor using screw (19)
• the leaf arm on the engine arm using the short sha (24)
The gate arm can be fitted both ways.
• the leaf bracket on the leaf arm using a damper (23), 2 rings (22)
and a long sha (21).
7) Unlock the motor arms using the button located on top of the motor.
-
: arms locked
: manual operation
-
Attention
In the unlocked position, move the arms slowly to avoid damaging
the motors.
8) To ensure the gate is closed correctly, push the motor arm and the
gate firmly:
- the gate arm must be fully deployed,
- the gate leaf bracket must be pressed flat against the reinforce-
ment,
- the gate arm marking must be aligned with the motor arm arrow.
Attention
Ensure the markers on the motor arm and the gate arm are lined
up to ensure the gate is properly closed and can withstand strong
winds or external forces.
9) Mark the centre-to-centre distances for mounting the bracket to the
gate.
10) Drill the gate leaf reinforcement then mount the bracket.
11) Check that the position of the bracket on the gate is correct by manu-
ally opening the gate.
If necessary, correct the position.
4.3. Installing the integrated stop block - Fig. 6
1) Manually open the gate to the desired opening position α.
2) Install the stop block on the bracket side, flush against the shoulder
of the motor arm.
Do not tighten the stop.
3) Close the gate slightly.
4) Move the stop block approximately 2 mm towards the motor arm
shoulder.
5) Tighten the stop block definitively using a long Allen key for greater
torque when tightening the stop block screws (16 Nm).
Attention
Tighten the stop block again.
6) Install the stop block covers: screw the lower cover with holes (25),
holding the sha while performing this operation, then screw in the
upper cover (26).
7) Permanently secure the gate leaf bracket using the central mounting
hole.
