Contraindication:
Materials which are not designed for use with the
apparatus and which are not recommended by
Ivoclar Vivadent.
5. Installation and Initial
Start-up
5.1 Unpacking and checking the contents
Check the delivery for completeness.
Grip the Cap Vibrator at the front and back through the
cut-outs in the packaging material and carefully remove
the apparatus from the styrofoam.
Contraindication
Never lift the Cap Vibrator by the hood or the
capsule holder.
Check the apparatus for possible transport damage. If
certain parts are damaged or missing, contact your local
Customer Service.
5.2 Removal of transport securing screw
The Cap Vibrator is equipped with a transport securing
screw to avoid damage during transport. Prior to the
initial start-up, the transport securing screw has to be
removed as follows:
Pull the Cap Vibrator to the edge of the table. Lift front
slightly and remove the transport securing screw (8) from
the base (13).

5.3 Selecting the location
Position the Cap Vibrator on level surface that is free
from vibration.
5.4 Mains connection
Check to see if the voltage and frequency on the name-
plate of the unit conform to the mains supply. Should this
not be the case, you must not connect the unit. Please
contact your local Customer Service in this case.
If the voltage conforms to the mains supply, connect to
cord to the box (15) and the mains connection plug (7)
to the mains.
6. Operation
6.1 Switching on
After the switch (14) has been turned on (position I),
the 'ready' display will remain illuminated as long as
the machine is in operation.
6.2 Explanation of the keys
Two selectable time keys are available:
– 30 seconds
– 5 minutes
Please refer to the Instructions for Use of the material for
information about the mixing times.
By pushing the 'reset' button (11), the mixing procedure
can be interrupted manually.
