Instructions for Use
The Cavifil system consists of the following
components:
– Cavifils – unit-dose plastic cartridges (1) filled with
composite or other pliable materials
– Cavifil injector (2)
Usage
a)Slide the Cavifil into the injector until it snaps into place
(3).
b)Slide the retaining ring to the very front to ensure that
the Cavifil is sufficiently secured. If the retaining ring is
not at the very front, there is a risk that the Cavifil will
loosen during application.
The Cavifil is now secured in the injector, but it may still
be rotated 360° if required (4).
c) Activate the lever to extrude the material (5).
The lever cannot be activated if the retaining ring has not
been slit to the front to secure the Cavifil in the injector.
d)After applying the material, push the retaining ring back
and remove the Cavifil from the injector by
pulling it out towards the side.
