Remove the lower and upper spray arms (3/4) inside the appliance (lower spray arm,
see Fig. U) to clean the spray arms (3/4). Carefully pull off the spray arms (3/4)
and remove them. Clean the spray arms (3/4) under running water and check that the
openings are not blocked. Refit the spray arms. After replacing the spray arms (3/4)
check that they rotate freely.
In case of grease deposits, run the intensive program without a load to clean the inte-
rior.
To remove stains or soiling from the interior surfaces, use water and a cloth dampened
with a little vinegar or detergent suitable for a dishwasher.
13. Antifreeze protection
When operating in cold environments, e.g. during winter months, pay attention to the fol-
lowing information after each wash cycle to prevent freezing:
Pull the mains plug (21) out of the mains socket.
Turn off the water supply, if necessary, and disconnect the water hose from the water
inlet valve (22).
Empty the water tank as described under "12.1. Draining water manually" on page
35.
Allow the water to drain out of the hose and valve (e.g. into a bucket).
Reconnect the hose to the water inlet valve (22).
Remove the filter system (5) on the base of the appliance and collect the remaining
water from the appliance base using a rag or sponge.
Contact customer services or a similarly qualified person if the appliance does
not function due to freezing.
