NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
Damage to the appliance is possible if incorrect salt addi-
tive is used.
 Always use dishwasher salt/regeneration salt that is suit-
able for the dishwasher.
 Normal household salt is not suitable and can damage
the appliance.
 Remove the dish rack (8) and twist the lid off the salt container (1 1).
 Fill the salt container (1 1) with 0.5 l water before the first use (see Fig. L).
 Use the funnel (7) to pour 130 g of dishwasher salt into the opening of the salt contain-
er (1 1). It is normal if water escapes from the salt container (1 1).
 Once the salt container (1 1) has been filled, twist the lid clockwise to tighten (see Fig.
L).
 To avoid damage to the appliance, always start the quick program without dishes af-
ter adding salt.
The salt container (1 1) must be filled up when the salt warning light switches
on. Once the salt consumption has been set according to "10.4. Setting salt
consumption" on page 23 and the salt container (1 1) has been filled, the
salt warning light goes out.
If there are salt residues in the appliance, start a quick program to rinse these out.
