*The pulse length (pulse duration)
The pulse length or pulse duration denotes the
time during which electrical pulses flow into the
muscles. The longer this time is, the more inten-
sively and deeply the muscles will be trained.
*Duty cycle
The stimulation interval, also known as the duty
cycle, determines the ratio between the stimula-
tion phases and pauses during a training session.
Some EMS programs require these pauses for
your muscles.
Programs with a duty cycle
Some programs require a stimulation interval.
This could be as follows:
Example: You select a program with the duty cy-
cle "4 sec ON, 4 sec OFF". As such, it will run at a
repeating interval of four seconds of stimulation
and four seconds of pause.

Programs without a duty cycle
Some programs do not have a duty cycle. In such
cases, your muscles will be continuously stimulat-
ed.

9. CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE
• Always remove the batteries from the device
before cleaning.
• Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth. If
it is very dirty, you can also moisten the cloth
with a mild soapy solution.
• Do not drop the device.
• Ensure that no water enters the device. If this
happens, only use the device again once it
has fully dried out.
• Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning
agents for cleaning.
• The belt is not machine-washable. Once you
have removed the device (control unit) from
the belt, you can wipe down the belt with
lukewarm water. Use a mild soapy solution or
liquid detergent for this. Do not use bleach.

11. DISPOSAL
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the
device in household waste at the end of
its service life. Dispose of the device at a
suitable local collection or recycling point
in your country. Observe the local regula-
tions for material disposal. Dispose of the
device in accordance with EC Directive Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). If you
have any questions, please contact the local au-
thorities responsible for waste disposal.
The empty, completely flat batteries must be dis-
posed of at specially designated collection boxes,
