c) Operation
• The charger can be powered by a stabilised direct
voltage of 9 - 15 V/DC, e.g. with a suitable power
adaptor or a suitably powerful LiPo battery (2 - 4
cells). Never use both input types at the same time.
• When handling the charger or batteries, never wear
metal or conductive objects (e.g. jewellery such as
necklaces, bracelets or rings). A short circuit may
cause a fire or explosion.
• Never leave the product unattended during use. The
charger comes with a range of safety mechanisms
to ensure safe use. However, malfunctions may still
occur from time to time.
• Do not use the charger in the immediate vicinity of
strong magnetic or electromagnetic fields, transmit-
ter aerials or HF generators. These may affect the
electronic control system.
• Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation during op-
eration; never cover the charger or connected bat-
teries. Overheating poses a risk of fire!
• The charger is only suitable for charging LiPo or
LiHV batteries with 1 cell. Never charge other types
of battery or non-rechargeable batteries. There is a
high risk of fire or explosion!
