- After a long period of storage in unfavourable circumstances, or:
- After severe transport stressing
b) operation
•
To supply voltage/current, the battery charger may only be operated on stabilised direct voltage of
11-18V= or with a suitable mains adapter.
•
The battery charger may only be operated and connected to the 12 V onboard battery with the
vehicle stationary.
•
The product may only be used in dry, enclosed rooms. It must not get damp or wet.
•
Avoid the following unfavourable ambient conditions at the setup location and during operation and
transport:
- Excessive humidity or dampness
- extreme cold (<0°C) or heat (>+35°C),
- direct sunlight
- Dust or combustible gases, vapours or solvents
- strong vibrations, impact or blows
- strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loudspeakers
•
Handle the product carefully, it can be damaged by impacts, strikes or by falling from a low height.
•
Do not use the charger within a vehicle.
•
Do not, for example, put any containers, vases or plants filled with liquid on or near the battery char-
ger. Getting it wet would damage the battery charger, and there would also be a great danger of fire.
•
If the battery charger gets wet, immediately disconnect it from the operating voltage and then discon-
nect the battery from the battery charger.
•
The exterior of the accumulator must be completely dried off and/or cleaned. Do not use the charger
again - bring it to a specialist workshop.
