5. Properties of the lisa RF smoke detector

Automatic readiness for operation
After having been inserted into the base, the smoke detector automati-
cally starts operation.
Alarm memory
If the smoke detector had an alarm, this is visually indicated by the LED
until it is acknowledged. It can be reset by pressing the test button.
Suitable for bedrooms
Automatic deactivation of the LED and Suppression of status messages
which do not affect the operation of the smoke detector by the integrated
real-time clock between 10 pm and 6 am CET*, in order not to disturb
sleep.
Contamination compensation
The detector controls its basic signal according to its level of contami-
nation and thereby reaches a higher service life than smoke detectors
without compensation. If the maximum contamination level is reached
by the readjustment, this is signalled as a failure.
