If water should enter the heat pump unit, it may cause a malfunction voiding the
warranty!

If the end points of the air ducts are located outside a covered area, they must
end with a downward bend of 90° to prevent precipitation from entering the
ventilation system.
• In order to avoid the backflow of condensed water, air ducts must not slope
towards the device. A vertical air duct connected directly to the device may only be
installed if the condensate formed in the duct is prevented from flowing into the
device.

Thermally insulate air ducts to avoid heat loss and condensation.
