local regulations, the stove must be properly
cleaned to ensure that dust and ash are removed
from the convection zone. This service, which
must be performed by a qualified specialist, must
include cleaning, leak testing and maintenance
of the flue pipe. If the stove has been out of use
for longer periods, always perform this service.
7.2.1 Combustion chamber cleaning
Soot deposits can accumulate on the interior
surfaces of the stove during use. Soot is a good
insulator and therefore reduces the heat output
of the appliance.
If soot deposits accumulate while the product is
in use, a special cleaner can be used to remove
them.
To clean the combustion chamber, proceed as
follows:
STEP
ACTION
Remove the residues from the
combustion chamber with a
1
suitable ash vacuum, ensuring that
the ash is completely extinguished
7.2.2 Grate for ash
To drop the ash into the ash drawer, use the grate
as described below:
STEP
ACTION
Open the grate (A) by pulling it
1
towards the door, using a suitable
tool
2
Ashes fall through the grate
Close the ash grate after cleaning
3
(B)
Note: the grate must be closed while the stove is
in operation to ensure optimal combustion.

The ash drawer must be cleaned depending on
the amount of time the stove is used and what
type of pellet is used.
To clean the ash drawer, proceed as follows:
STEP
ACTION
Open the ash drawer door with the
1
handle (A)
Remove the ash drawer (B) and

The product features the glass air cleaning
system. Through the air intake, air is sucked in at
the top of the stove and pushed down along the
inside of the glass.
However, some soot accumulation on the glass
will be unavoidable, the amount of which will
depend on the local draught conditions and
the setting of the air intake. Most of the soot will
normally be burnt off when the air intake is fully
opened.
When the stove is cold, clean the ceramic glass
with a dry cloth, or you can purchase a special
glass cleaner from your authorised dealer. Glass
cleaner must be used as directed. Never use
cleaning agents with abrasive properties.
Periodically check that the suction duct is free of
obstructions (dust, animal hair, etc.) and remove
them if necessary.
7.3 SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Scheduled maintenance ac tivities must
be carried out by staff from the Authorised
Assistance Centre.
Do not wait for components to be deteriorated by
use before proceeding with their replacement.
Replace a worn component before it is completely
broken to prevent any damage caused by sudden
component breakage.
