5. How to use
• Remove all packing material.
• Check to ensure that all parts are pres-
ent and undamaged.
• Clean the device prior to its first
use! (see "Cleaning" on page 12)

Only plug the mains plug 3 into the wall
socket after the base unit 4 and the ac-
cessories have been assembled.
• Place the device on a dry, level, non-slip
surface.

6. Smoothie maker
In its function as a smoothie maker, use the
beaker 13 or 15 together with the blade at-
tachment 12 for blending smoothies or chop-
ping ice cubes.
DANGER! Risk of electric

Only plug the mains plug 3 into the
wall socket after the device has been
completely assembled.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
Under no circumstances should the de-
vice be operated without the beak-
er 13/15.
The blades of the blade attachment 12
are sharp. Please be very careful when
handling them.
The blades of the blade attachment 12
carry on rotating after the device has
been switched off. Wait until the blades
have come to a standstill before you
turn over the beaker 13/15 and un-
screw the blade attachment.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
In order to prevent damage to the de-
vice, interrupt the blending process im-
mediately if the blades of the blade
attachment 12 rotate with difficulty or
not at all. In this case, pull out the mains
plug 3 and check whether there is an ob-
struction in the beaker 13/15.
The device is designed for a continuous
operating time of no more than 1 min-
ute in the smoothie maker mode. After
this, the device must remain switched off
until it has cooled down to room temper-
ature.
