Instruction Manual
Open the cover and swing the right cooling tube in the air.
Insert the stop pin in the hole of the inner flange.
Use the spanner (17 mm) to loosen the flange screw.
Remove the outer flange and the cup wheel.
The tolerance between the spindle and inner flange is very small which
means that the two surfaces must be absolutely clean. Never try to squeeze
the cup wheel on as this may damage the spindle. If there are any small
burrs remove them with grinding paper (grain size 1200).
If a cut-off wheel has been used before, remove also the inner
flange. Please remember also to remove the left cooling tube
and to put on the cooling tube for use with the cup wheel.
Mount the inner flange if necessary, (only applicable if a cutting
operation has been performed previously), the new cup wheel
and the outer flange.
Note:
When mounting the inner flange, the notch on the flange
must
meet with the guiding pin on the spindle.
Insert the locking pin in the hole in the inner flange.
Fasten the flange screw gently using the spanner.
Swing the cooling tube back into its proper position.
Before the vacuum chuck is used for the first time, it has to be
connected to a vacuum pump. Accutom-50 is prepared for the
connection through a lead-in bushing into the cutting chamber.
Remove the long vacuum tube from the vacuum chuck and
replace it with the short tube delivered together with Accutom-50.
Remove the screw on the left hand side inside the cutting
chamber (see Getting Acquainted with Accutom-50) and connect
the other end of the short tube to this outlet.
Remove the screw on the left hand side of the back of Accutom-
50 and connect the long tube removed from the vacuum chuck to
this inlet.
Connect the other end of the long tube to a vacuum pump.
