Assigning a station position to a
unit connected to the Euro-AV socket
Each station position can be "reserved" for
video reproduction from a unit (eg: video
recorder) which has its switching voltage
applied at PIN 8.
Example:
You are receiving till today three television
programmes and now wish to assign station
position 4 to your video recorder.

— Press button 41) until the display
shows 4.

Changing the basic settings
At the factory, the volume, brightness, col-
our contrast, and black/white contrast have
been set to optimum values.
You can change these optimum settings. For
example, when you are always watching TV
from a great distance, you can set the vol-
ume so that it will be permanently louder.
@ Permanently changing the volume set-
ting with the buttons on the TV set

Press button "+" (2 on the TV set
= higher volume;
— press button "—" 42 on the TV set
= lower volume.
@ with the buttons of the remote control
— Press button <{ of group of buttons .D]
= lower volume;
— press button > of group of buttons [D]
= higher volume.
@ Storing the changed value
If you wish to permanently change the
setting of a value (on the TV set or with
the remote control), the changed setting
must be stored.

Press button @) on the TV set.
@ Changing the settings for ( brightness,
® colour contrast,
and @ black
and
white contrast, TINT tint correction on
NTSC reception.
— Preselect the desired function with the re-
spective button of the group of buttons |G
on the remote control.
A dot will flash in the display 40.
— Within this period of time press button <q
or > of the group of buttons [D] on the re-
mote control to adjust the desired value.
® Storing the changed value
— Press button ©) on the TV set.
The changed values are stored ard will be
obtained again even after having s witched
off the set.
@ Switching off the TV set
If you do not use the set for longer
periods of time, switch it off with the
mains switch @).
