Check that the inner pad (inside the wheel) is 0.2 - 0.4 mm from the disc. If not, tighten the pad
positioning screw until there is a gap of 0.2 - 0.4 mm between the pad and the disc.
To adjust the outer pad (on the outside of the wheel) simply change the brake cable pressure so as
to obtain a gap of 0.2 - 0.4 mm at the level of the bracket or brake lever.
It is recommended never to pour oil or any lubricating material on the disc or pads (when servicing
the chain or derailleur, for example). If this happens, the pads or disc should be degreased or
replaced.
Check the alignment of the pads by spinning the wheel to use the bicycle on the road.
Discs: the bicycle is equipped with discs with a diameter of 160 mm.
• A nut and locknut system at the level of the brake lever or bracket allows you to adjust the pressure
of the cable and therefore the braking force which will vary over time according to the wear of the
brake pads.
• The brake pads are standard, replace them when the pad no longer has friction components.
