1.4 Safety
All the operations included in this manual must be performed by following the safety guidelines
indicated in the equipment installation manual.
Carefully read the manual for the equipment on which these operations are to be performed.
It is mandatory to comply with all the applicable legislation on safety when working with
electricity.
1.5 Treatment of waste
Communication accessories use components that are harmful to the environment (electronic boards,
batteries, etc.).
At the end of the useful life of the accessory and to ensure that it is treated
correctly, it must be handed over to a manager authorised to handle hazardous
waste.
In this section, in line with its environmentally friendly policy, Ingeteam provides
the Authorised Manager with information on the location of the components to
be decontaminated.
