7. MANAGING THE CHARGER
FROM THE VELTIUM APP
7.1 SETTINGS
Remember that, for security reasons, the charger settings can only
be changed if you are connected to the device by Bluetooth, never
remotely.
Charger name
Assign the name of your choice to your charger
for easy identification, and press Confirm.
Firmware update
1- Forced update
It is necessary to update the
firmware in order to be compatible
with the current version of the App.
In a place with Internet connection, press the Download button. A new version will be saved in
your phone´s memory. Stand beside the charger with Bluetooth connected, open the App and
press the Install button.
On the screen, you will be able to see the progress of the process.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you stay within the Bluetooth range of
the charger (8-10 meters) and do not close the application until the
process is complete.
After the update is finished, the blinking purple light on the charger will
change to a steady green light, and it will automatically restart. There is
no need to restart it manually.
2- Recommended update
Although it is not necessary to update
the firmware to be compatible with
the current version of the App, it is
recommended to do so.
