HOB
When you cook, make sure that the aspiration hood has been turned on. Scrupulously
follow the manufacturer's instructions; specifically, make sure that the pans do not hang
past the surface of the hob. Especially for some particularly powerful hobs if this rule
is not followed, the heat irradiates into the top, ruining it or in the worst case scenario
causing it to break.
DISHWASHERS
Let the dishwasher cool down at the end of a wash cycle. If you open it right after the wash
cycle, the steam that is trapped could make the overlying TOP swell over time. Generally,
dishwashers come with a protective strip for the Top; check to see if one has been installed
If by chance you have to open the door at the end of the wash without having let the
dishwasher cool off, remember to open the door completely so that the steam doesn't
collect on the worktops or the corners of the adjacent doors. In any event, we do not
recommend you do this.
If the dishwasher has an automatic door-opening system at the end of the wash, this
option must be deactivated.
Refer to the Use and Maintenance booklet supplied with the dishwasher for deactivation.
TAPS
The taps can get damaged (water leaking from the tap) if the water is not filtered. Before
using the tap, always make sure that proper filters have been installed where the system
begins to get rid of any impurities present and that they are correctly kept up.
