HPL LAMINATE WORKTOPS
HPL surfaces have good resistance to household chemicals. Use trivets and cutting
boards to place very hot objects (e.g: coffee pots, pots, frying pans...) and avoid scratches.
For maintenance, it is good practice to keep household surfaces clean and dry at all times.
In the case of stubborn dirt or carelessness, any dry deposits must first be removed with
a soft, damp cloth, without rubbing so as not to scratch the top. Then use a soft, non-
abrasive sponge and a household cleaner (we recommend a limescale remover such as
Chanteclair), wash the surface with the cleaner and rinse with plenty of lukewarm water,
then dry thoroughly. In exceptional cases, you may use acetone, make absolutely sure that
it does not come into contact with any plastic edges.
TECHNICAL CERAMIC WORKTOPS DEKTON®/IRIS
These are materials made from noble clays such as quartz, feldspar and sintered kaolin,
consisting of a compact, frost-proof, non-absorbent mixture that is resistant to chemical
and physical attack. This material is subject to minimal colour variations. Please refer to
the manufacturer's instructions.
Generally, avoid placing glasses and crockery while they are still wet, as this may cause
stains and watermarks. Immediately blot up any spillage on the top.
Use trivets under very hot objects. Use cutting boards in any case to avoid producing
scratches.
For daily cleaning, use water, mild soap and a soft sponge. Avoid rubbing with ceramic
plates and knives.
For the removal of persistent stains, use creams such as Cif white cream with
microparticles diluted with warm water, applying it to the surface with a soft sponge.
Avoid over-working the stain, as excessive vigorous action on the affected area could
irreparably dull the material.
DECORATIVE CERAMIC WORKTOPS
Absolutely do not use steam cleaners for the interspaces.
Avoid hitting the glazed tiles with pointed objects.
