Setting the heating angle
 Set the desired heating angle: the heater can
turn 2 x 30°. To do this, slightly loosen the
M6*10 socket screws and after setting, tighten
them again.
 When mounting the TH1800R on the wall, do not
direct it upwards! This makes no sense and can
damage the ceiling!
 Now tighten all the screws once again and check whether the apparatus is positioned
firmly. Your infrared heater is now
 For personal protection the installation, to which the EUROM TH1800R is connected,
has to be equipped with an earth fall device (max. 30 mA).
Under some circumstances it may be attractive to make a fast connection between the
heater and the main supply, and to operate the heater with a switch. Because the EUROM
TH1800R has a high water tightness (IP65) and for safety reasons, such a connection has
to be made by a qualified electrician.
Remote control
The remote control for the patio heater works on 2 batteries (1.5V
AAA). The battery compartment in the remote control is located at
the back. Slide it open, install the batteries (+ to +, - to -) and close the
lid. Point the remote control towards the sensor on the patio heater
during use. If there are obstacles between the remote control and the
sensor, it won't work! Only use non-rechargeable batteries. Remove
the batteries if the heater is not to be used for a while as this will
extend the lifespan of the remote control. Replace empty or leaking
batteries and dispose of them with chemical waste. The chemical
substances in batteries should not come into contact with the skin or
eyes or be swallowed. If this happens, consult a doctor immediately.
Working
Check for every use:
- or the appliance doesn't show signs of damage.
- or the appliance still is fastened firmly. Mechanical bearing pressure, oscillating due to
wind or rain could lead to loose.
- or there are no objects, canvas, sun screens etc. are inside the safety distances.
- or the socket you want to use gives the correct tension (230V-50Hz).
If everything is all right you can insert the plug into the socket. Press the ON/OFF switch to
ON (I depressed) – the blue light on the control panel will start to flash. Use the 'ON/OFF'
button on the control panel of the 'ON' button on the remote control to activate the
radiator.
