SAUCEPAN ULTIMA
Four pluses for cooking
1. NO HOLE FOR STEAM
Reaching boil quickly and warming up food while saving energy.
To reach boiling point quickly and to warm up food while saving energy, place the cover onto the
saucepan so that the protruding end of the handle of the cover with the
long handle of the saucepan (pic. 7). Set the cooker to medium or higher output. Once the generated
steam begins to escape under the stainless steel rim of the cover, turn the cover so that the protruding
end of the handle of the cover with the (pic. 8) mark is directed to the long handle of the saucepan,
or reduce the heat output of the cooker.
2. HOLE FOR STEAM
Comfortable cooking without overboiling
For comfortable cooking without overboiling, place the cover onto the vessel so that the protruding end
of the handle of the cover with the mark is directed to the long handle of the saucepan (obr. 8). Set the
cooker to low or medium output; an amount of steam which is sufficient for comfortable cooking without
overboiling will continuously escape through the hole between the vessel and the cover.
3. SETTING UTENSILS ASIDE
Handle for setting kitchen utensils aside
Place the cooking spoon, ladle, etc. in the long handle of the saucepan during the cooking process
(pic. 9).
4. SETTING THE COVER ASIDE
Steam runs back into the vessel
Place the cover in the hole in the grip of the vessel during the cooking process; steam runs back into
the saucepan (pic. 10).
SETTING COOKER OUTPUT
When cooking in cookware ULTIMA, set the cooker to maximum only for the initial phase of cooking
and allow only low or medium output further during the cooking process.
Switch the heat off in advance before the end of cooking to make use of the heat retaining properties
of the sandwich bottom.
Make sure that the size of the cooking range does not exceed the diameter of the bottom of the cookware
and do not allow the flame to expand over the bottom – if this happens, the grips could burn or even
suffer damage.

WARNING! Never heat empty cookware. When empty vessels or vessels with little content
are heated on cookers over a long period of time, purple or brown stains might appear on
the metal surfaces. These stains do not affect correct functioning, they do not represent
a health hazard or fault and cannot be claimed.
COOKWARE ULTIMA MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Wash the cookware and wipe it dry thoroughly before fi rst use.
mark is directed to the
To permanently preserve perfect appearance, thoroughly wash and dry the cookware after each use.
Clean the cookware with normal detergents; never use aggressive substances, chemicals or sharp
objects. Cookware ULTIMA can be cleaned using special agents for stainless steel - we recommend
Tescoma CLINOX for excellent cleaning results.
Leave excessively dirty cookware to soak in water or water with detergent.
Always wipe the cookware dry after washing.
Notice: Add salt only after the water starts boiling! Adding salt to cold water can cause a high
concentration of table salt at the bottom of the cookware, which results in the occurrence of light
stains, called pitting corrosion. These light stains on the bottom of the cookware do not aff ect
functioning of the cookware and are not hazardous to health. As such they do not represent a fault
and cannot be claimed.
Should white sediments or iridescent colouration appear on the inside of the cookware, use vinegar,
lemon drops or a special stainless steel cleansing agent to clean. These are sediments, the formation
of which depends on the chemical composition of the water being used.
Cookware ULTIMA is dishwasher safe. In dishwashing, make sure that the stainless steel cookware
is not in contact with other metal kitchen utensils to avoid rusty or light stains, called contact
corrosion, on the surface of the cookware. Open the door of the dishwasher as soon as possible
after the washing cycle and remove the cookware. The corrosion can also be transferred to
the cookware in water from some other product; we therefore recommend reducing or eliminating
dishwashing in order to preserve the perfect appearance of the cookware.
