Check after a strong collision or impact
IMPORTANT!
The wheelchair can suffer damage caused by a strong collision or impact and not
visible to the naked eye.
It is therefore fundamental to get a specialist to check the wheelchair after a
strong collision or impact.
Repairing or replacement of the inner tube
1. Disassemble the rear wheel and empty the inner tube from any remaining air.
2. Lift a heel of the tyre from the edge of the wheel rim. Use a device to remove tyres from bicycles; don't use a
sharpened object, for example a screwdriver, as to avoid damaging the inner tube.
3. Extract the inner tube from the tyre.
4. Repair the inner tube by using a repairing kit for bicycles or, if necessary, replace the inner tube.
5. Slightly inflate the inner tube until it achieves a rounded shape.
6. Introduce the valve into the valve hole in the wheel rim and insert the inner tube into the tyre (the inner tube should
adapt to the circumference of the tyre without forming any creases).
7. Lift the heels of the tyre on the edge of the wheel rim. Start from the area around the valve and use a device to
remove tyres from bicycles. Check all along the circumference that the inner tube is not stuck anywhere between the
tyre and the wheel rim.
8. Inflate the tyre to its maximum pressure. Make sure there is no air leaking from the tyre.
8.3 CARE
Your wheelchair will accompany you for many years if you take care of it regularly.
IMPORTANT!
Sand and sea water may damage the ball bearings and the steel parts may rust if
the surface is damaged.
Expose the wheelchair to sand and sea water only for a short time and clean it
after having been on the beach.
IMPORTANT!
Don't use abrasive substances, aggressive cleansers and high pressure cleaning
devices.
1. Clean the lining and the metal parts with a damp soft cloth.
2. Dry the wheelchair accurately after using it in the rain or in the shower.
3. If the wheelchair is dirty, soften the dirt and remove it; then dry the wheelchair with care.

8.4 DISINFECTION
Note the concentration and exposure times of the disinfectant manufacturer. The product is suitable for spray and
wipe disinfection with ordinary household disinfectants. All surfaces should be wiped with a clean cloth moistened with
disinfectant. Apply the disinfectant evenly. Do not rinse and allow the product to air dry. Subsequently, the product must
be checked for cleanliness and damages.
IMPORTANT !
To receive a list of all homologated disinfecting products, please ask your trusted
dealer.
9. BREAKDOWN SOLUTIONS
9.1 SAFETY INDICATIONS
Daily use, new regulations or variation of the forces the wheelchair is subjected to may cause breakdown. The table
below provides indications on how to recognise and eliminate breakdowns.
CAUTION!
In case anomalies of the wheelchair are noticed, e.g. a change in speed behaviour,
contact your specialized dealer immediately.
IMPORTANT!
Some of the reported interventions must be carried out by an authorized specialized
dealer. Those have been duly marked. We suggest all adjustments are carried out by a
specialized dealer.
