Brief description
The ARIA PLIXA wheelchair model is a lightweight folding-frame type.
"The effective equipment of the wheelchair can vary from the pictures in the manual, as each wheelchair is built
according to the indications given in the order."
3.2 OPENING / CLOSING OF THE WHEELCHAIR
This model allows the wheelchair to be closed by operating the cruise mechanism.
OPENING
Place the palm of your hands over the two seat tubes, position A and B, and push down firmly until the seat is fully
opened. After the wheelchair has been opened, it is essential to check very carefully that the cross tubes are always
firmly inserted in the front and rear C brackets.
WARNING!
Carry out the operation taking great care that the fingers of the hand do not get
between the seat tube and the supports or between the seat tube and the frame tube
when opening.

Aluminium alloy
Structure: Upholstery
Cushion: not supplied
To facilitate the operation, it is recommended to lift one rear wheel slightly to prevent friction with the floor from
hindering its release. To do this, grab one of the handles on the backrest and gently lift the wheelchair. With your free
hand, apply firm downward pressure on the seat tubes. Carefully check that the seat tubes are correctly inserted
into the seat supports. If there is a footplate, lower it and, in the case of a single footplate, make sure it is properly
engaged in the holder.
CLOSING
Remove the cushion or any other soft and rigid supports from the seat or backrest.
Lift the footrest(s) C by hand.
Pull the seat canvas upwards with both hands at the points A and B indicated.
