M18™ 500GB Control Hub
Remove the four combination head screws to access the camera test port
1. With the Control Hub powered off, remove it from the reel.
2. On the rear of the Control Hub, remove the four combination head screws from
the camera test port cover.
3. Screw the camera head onto the male threads of the test port. Hand tighten only.
4. Power on the Control Hub.
5. Power on the M18™ Wireless Monitor or tablet running the Milwaukee
Inspection App, and connect to the Control Hub checking for picture and control of the
cameras LED's.
3.4 Formatting the M18™ Control Hub Internal and
Thumb Drives
This setting allows the formatting of the M18™ 500GB Control Hub's Internal 500GB
Drive or a USB thumb drive. The system requires that USB thumb drives be formatted in
NTFS or FAT32 file system in a computer running a Microsoft Windows operating system.
Any new thumb drives should already be formatted in NTFS or FAT32 but if the Control
Hub does not recognize the USB Thumb Drive follow the below instructions making sure
to select Control Hub Thumb Drive. Alternatively, a USB thumb drive can be formatted
in a Windows desktop PC or laptop. See the end of this section on instructions on how to
do this.
Formatting the M18™ Control Hub or Thumb Drives
1. Turn the navigation dial to Settings
2. Turn the navigation dial to Format Disk, press the navigation dial to enter the sub-
menu.
Select the Control Hub Internal Drive (Hub SSD) or the Control Hub Thumb Drive (Hub
USB) and press the navigation dial.
