M18™ 500GB Control Hub
Removing the M18™ 500GB Control Hub
1. On the back of the reel, turn the push cable drum brake locking knob counterclockwise
to unlock.
2. Remove the spring from the spring holder.
3. Push the push cable and spring into the push cable drum.
4. Press the unlock button and remove.
3.3 Using the M18™ 500GB Control Hub
Recharge only with the charger specified for the battery. For specific
charging instructions, read the operator's manual supplied with your charger and
battery.
3.3.1 Power on/off
Press the Power
Control Hub will illuminate, showing that the power is on. The Control Hub symbol will
appear in the status bar of the M18™ Wireless Monitor along with the Control Hub's
battery state.
3.3.2 USB Ports

Purpose
The USB-A port is the day to day use port. It
allows for direct recording of video and picture
files or transferring files from the M18™ 500GB
Control Hub Internal Drive.
This drive is also used to perform firmware
updates to Control Hub.
The USB-C port is used for:
Connecting the M18™ Wireless Monitor to the
M18™ 500GB Control Hub bypassing a Wi-Fi
connection.
Power the M18™ 500GB Control Hub from the
M18™ Wireless Monitor when no battery is
present in the Hub or vice versa.
