6.2. MEDIC VALVE Balloon
6.2.1. The Efficiency of vaporized Dronabinol (THC)
By following the procedure listed in the Instructions for Use the systemic bioavaila-
bility of vaporized dronabinol is approximately 46%.
For comparison: The systemic bioavailability of cannabinoids aministered orally
is below 15%.
When observing the Instructions for Use and with a vaporization temperature of
210°C (410°F) the following reference values are validated in studies:

If dosage is too low increase the amount of dronabinol.
If dosage is too high reduce the amount of dronabinol.
6.2.2. Application
When the actual temperature has
reached 210°C (410°F), tighten the Val-
ve Balloon, place it on the Filling Cham-
ber and let it lock in place. For filling,
the Valve Balloon stands vertically on
the Hot Air Generator. This opens the
Valve. Press the touch button pump
(AIR). The Valve Balloon will now fill
with dronabinol aerosol.
